The email below was sent to 78 VPHA contributors and 69 prospective contributors.
As mentioned briefly earlier (link1, link2), how to archive the ALD-history-evolving-file and other VPHA materials (mainly conference presentations) will be one item to solve once VPHA is getting fully finished. Zenodo (https://zenodo.org/, by CERN) seems like a good candidate for the archival. I would like ask all authors of the abstracts: is it ok for you if these abstracts are uploaded in Zenodo and shared with a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0)? This licence is typically used for Open Access publications, e.g. here. Discussion on this item is open and a file for it has been created in Google Docs: Zenodo-for-VPHA-thoughts. Unless views appear that sharing in Zenodo should NOT be done, the plan is to share the abstracts openly some time after mid May. Please express your viewpoints latest on May 12; we will assume that anyone who does not respond by that date, accepts the plan to share the two abstracts in Zenodo with CC BY 4.0 licence.
