VPHA reading for ALD 2016 Dublin
As you all know, major progress in VPHA since the previous status update has taken place. All VPHA participants should have received publications for reading and commenting. If you did not, please send an email to info@ vph-ald.com and we’ll find reading for you.
The activities have started to pay off, as we see the “growth rate” in the number of comments as function of time being higher than ever recorded (see graphs in the blog post “Snapshot of VPHA reading progress (46% completed))”.
The VPHA reading is now 46% completed. We have asked everyone to leave their comments to the ALD-history-evolving-file by May 14th, after which we will make a major status check and distribute the remaining papers for reading. After May 14th, we will come back to the voting system, too, to collectively choose the “list of most significant early ALD publications” for the ALD 2016 poster presentation.

ALD conference list
In VPHA, we are collecting info of all ALD conferences everywhere throughout all times. At the moment, 59 have been listed. We think that some are probably missing still --- latest “finding” was a ALE workshop in England in 1985. If you notice missing items in VPHA-ALD-conference-list, we appreciate if you can let us. The file itself instructs how to add missing info in Google docs directly, or you can always email info@ vph-ald.com.

VPHA organizational poster in HERALD Helsinki meeting
The “Finnish Centre of Excellence in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALDCoE)” (this is a six-year project funded by the Academy of Finland, led by Prof. Markku Leskelä) is organizing an event “HERALD Working group 2 workshop and 4th annual seminar of ALDCoE "ALD precursors and processes” “. VTT is part of the ALDCoE. We plan to prepare an organizational poster of VPHA to this event, to share the recent progress and current status. Abstract for the VPHA organizational poster has been finalized and can be accessed in through the vph-ald.com website, direct link here.
